A very warm, welcome from myself and the team at St John’s. I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of this amazing nurture school, serving the wonderful Farnworth community.

We believe that every child is precious and unique, just like the lost sheep in Jesus’ parable (Luke 15). At St John’s, no child is ever forgotten or left behind - every individual matters, and we go the extra mile to ensure they feel valued, supported, and loved.

We nurture the skills of creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking - skills that will support your child not only in school, but throughout their life.

We are especially proud to be the only primary school in Bolton to have achieved the National Nurturing Schools Award. This honour recognises our deep commitment to emotional wellbeing and the nurturing principles that underpin everything we do. It is a true reflection of the positive, caring relationships we build with every child and their family.
