At St John’s we pride ourselves on providing a child centred approach to every aspect of school life.
Through treating every child as an individual we can ensure a personalised approach to both their learning and social and emotional development.
We aim to create resilient and independent thinking children who have empathy and tolerance for others and an awareness of where they fit into the wider community and world which we share.
We know that educating a child is a partnership between family, school and the community as such our Pastoral Care Officer works proactively with home and the community agencies to support families and children at the point of need.
Our children play a central part in driving school improvement and development through their roles as Student Leadership Groups – giving the children real-life leadership opportunity to shape the future of their school.
Our class groups created by the children and their aspirational mottos demonstrate our high expectations for all of our children.
Our strong links with St John’s Church ensure that all of our children have the opportunity to develop their spirituality regardless of faith or culture.
We hope we have inspired you to consider joining us at St John’s -please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information or to make an appointment to come to see us in all our glory!
